Cold Weather Update from Camflo Heating & Cooling, LLC
With extremely cold temperatures expected this weekend, our phones will be very busy. Please know our team is working extended hours and doing everything we can to take care of every customer as quickly and safely as possible. We truly appreciate your patience as we serve our community.
What to expect during extreme cold:
- It’s normal for your home’s temperature to fall behind 1–2 degrees when outdoor temperatures drop this low. This does not always mean there’s a problem.
- Your system may run longer than usual — this is expected and helps maintain comfort.
- If your home is staying warm and the system is running, there is usually no cause for alarm.
Quick things you can safely check:
Make sure snow or ice is not blocking your furnace or boiler intake and exhaust pipes
Check that air returns and vents inside the home are clear and unobstructed
Avoid turning the thermostat up and down repeatedly — steady settings work best in extreme cold
If your system will not run, is blowing cold air, or you have no heat, please contact us right away and we’ll get you on the schedule.
Thank you for trusting Camflo Heating & Cooling, LLC — we’re honored to keep you comfortable and safe.
